Move-Out Cleaning in Coquitlam — 901 Lougheed Hwy Project

Packing a home is about boxes; restoring it is about details. For this condo at 901 Lougheed Hwy in Coquitlam, we worked room by room with a top-down, left-to-right approach so nothing was missed. High-touch points were disinfected, surfaces were cleaned with non-abrasive products, and edges were finished with microfiber to protect delicate materials. The goal wasn’t just to look clean—it was to hand the next resident a space that feels calm, fresh, and ready on day one for a professional Coquitlam move-out clean.

Kitchen — Back to Bright and Sleek

Open-plan kitchens reveal every fingerprint and splash, so we began above eye level, then moved to the quartz worktops and backsplash. Food splatters and water spots were lifted, outlets and trim were wiped, and cabinet faces were cleaned without dulling the finish. Stainless appliances were polished last to avoid re-touching, leaving a uniform sheen under the downlights.

The cooking zone received a deeper treatment. The glass cooktop was de-gunked with a razor-safe method and finished with a non-streak polish; control knobs, handles, and trims were de-fingerprinted; and the oven door seal and lower ledge—common crumb traps—were carefully cleaned. We finished by buffing the metal so reflections looked crisp rather than cloudy.

Fridge & Freezer — From Cluttered to Fresh

Refrigerators can look tidy yet still harbour odours in seams and gaskets. We removed shelves and bins for a warm wash, sanitized food-contact areas, and let everything air-dry before reassembly. The interior liner, light housings, and drain channels were wiped so no residue remained to attract new smells. Door seals were cleaned to stop grime from building up, and the unit finished with a neutral, scent-free freshness.

Bathroom — Hygienic and Gleaming

Bathrooms are inspection hot spots. We focused on touch points first—faucets, handles, switches—then removed scale and soap film. The vanity and mirror line were wiped to the edges, drains flushed, and chrome polished with a soft cloth to avoid micro-scratches.

For the tub and tile surround, we lifted residue at the waterline, rinsed thoroughly, and dried surfaces to prevent new marks. Floors were vacuumed and damp-mopped with a low-moisture method so grout didn’t take on excess water.

Bedrooms & Living — Floors and Edges Done Right

Great floors start at the edges. We detailed baseboards and wall lines with a crevice tool, lifted lint from expansion gaps, and followed with a mopping machine to even out the laminate’s satin sheen. Window tracks and ledges were wiped so the room didn’t just look brighter—it stays cleaner longer because dust catchers were cleared. Final touch-ups covered door frames, outlet plates, and closet thresholds for a consistent finish across the suite.

Baseboard - Before & After

Once edges and tracks were handled, the rooms opened up. Natural light could bounce across the floor without showing streaks, and the space felt calm—exactly what you want future residents to walk into on move-in day. Final touch-ups included spot-checking door frames, outlet plates, and closet thresholds.

Bedroom Floor

We finished with a last pass through secondary rooms, confirming consistency: clean corners, even sheen on the floor, and no stray dust on window trim.

This angle shows how we treated the shared living and bedroom areas: edges were vacuumed first, baseboards wiped, and window tracks cleared so dust doesn’t return. After that, we damp-mopped the laminate with a quick-dry method to avoid streaks and raised grain. With corners, thresholds, and door frames finished, the space feels open and quietly polished—ready for furniture, photos, and a fresh start.

Summary

We prepared this 901 Lougheed Hwy, Coquitlam condo for move-out with a methodical top-down clean: quartz counters and backsplash were washed and disinfected, the range and oven degreased and polished, and the fridge/freezer fully dismantled and sanitized. In the bathroom, fixtures were descaled and disinfected. Across the living room and bedrooms, we detailed baseboards and window tracks, then used a mopping machine for an even, streak-free laminate finish. The suite was handed over fresh, neutral-smelling, and inspection-ready.
