Move-in Cleaning in Burnaby: A bright new start with a spotless home and balcony view.
Stepping into a new home should feel calm, bright, and ready to enjoy. This high-rise condo at 7728 Park Cres already had great bones—big glass doors, a generous balcony, and a practical kitchen—but our client wanted it to feel truly new. We provided a thorough move-in service covering the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, interior windows and frames, plus a full balcony refresh using strata-friendly methods (no pressure washer). Below is a room-by-room walkthrough with photos, captions, and alt text, arranged to tell a clear before-to-after story.
Project Snapshot
Service: Move-in cleaning for a high-rise condo
Location: 7728 Park Crescent, Burnaby
Focus areas: Kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces, interior windows/frames, and a full balcony refresh (floor + railings)
Tools & methods: Eco-friendly cleaners, microfiber detailing, steam/heat mopping for hard floors, and water-extraction for the balcony surface (strata-safe; no pressure washer)
On-site setup

We bring eco-friendly supplies and strata-safe tools for every appointment and share photo confirmation when the job is complete.
Kitchen reset

The kitchen should be both hygienic and welcoming for first-day cooking. We began by vacuuming and wiping the interiors of cabinets and drawers to capture construction dust and lingering crumbs from turnover. Counters were sanitized, backsplash polished, and the range area degreased for a consistent, streak-free finish. We detailed the faucet and sink, removed water spots, and buffed stainless surfaces so they reflect light without smudges. With clean storage, spotless worktops, and a bright sink area, the room feels immediately usable—no second guess about cleanliness when you unpack dishes or prep dinner.
Bathroom detailing

Bathrooms demand a careful touch because different materials respond to different products and techniques. We treated shower glass to remove mineral spots and left it crystal clear, then disinfected high-touch points like taps, handles, and the toilet area. Grout lines and tile received a residue-free clean so the room looks bright rather than hazy. The vanity and mirror were polished to a crisp finish, and edges around fixtures were hand-wiped to catch buildup that ordinary wipe-downs miss. The final effect is a bathroom that feels hotel-clean—fresh air, clear reflections, and sanitary surfaces from door handle to drain.
Floors & windows (interior)

A common complaint after quick turnovers is a filmy residue on floors. We avoid that by using a system that keeps clean water and dirty water separate from start to finish. Before mopping, we vacuumed debris, then did a careful edge pass along baseboards and corners so the final wash wouldn’t drag grit across the surface. Window frames and tracks were vacuumed and wiped before the floor wash, which stops dust from falling onto freshly cleaned areas. The payoff is a uniform finish that looks clean and stays clean when you start moving furniture in.
Balcony transformation (Before → After)
Railing top cap (Before/After)
Dust and fingerprints dull the look of the rail. We wiped, degreased and leveled the sheen for a smooth finish.
Textured balcony floor

High-rise balconies collect fine dust, shoe prints, and airborne grime. Many buildings restrict pressure washing, so we use a strata-friendly water-extraction process: pre-treat, gently agitate the textured surface, then lift the dirty solution so the floor dries clean rather than patchy. Rails and top caps get a careful wipe and even sheen, so leaning out for that sunset photo doesn’t mean picking up fingerprints.
